The Water Authority seizes illegal excavators in Daraa as part of efforts to protect groundwater

The Water Police seized three illegal excavators in Daraa Governorate – from the cities of Tesil, Nawa, and Al-Masmiyah, and they were taken to the violated excavators' garage at the directorate, as part of official procedures in preparation for completing the necessary legal measures against them.

The directorate confirmed that appropriate actions will be taken against the owners of the violations and they will be referred to the competent judiciary after the required reports are filed in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

Thus, the total number of confiscated illegal excavators has risen to 57, as part of the ongoing efforts to control the excavation sector and protect water resources from depletion.
