Repairing two faults on the fifth line to enhance irrigation of 30 hectares in Arab Al-Shati

The staff of the Tartous Water Resources Directorate completed repairs on two leaks in the fifth pipeline in the village of Arab al-Shati, within the eastern branch of the Al-Abrash Dam canal. This will contribute to a stable irrigation of approximately 30 hectares of farmland in the village.

The work included repairing a 250 mm diameter asbestos pipeline, which will reduce water loss and improve the efficiency of water delivery to the beneficiary agricultural lands.
